Individual Membership
Full member
- 20 birr Registration fee
- Annual fee of 24 birr for Members Residing in Ethiopia and for foreigners too.
Associate member
- 15 birr Registration fee
- Annual fee of 15 birr for Members Residing in Ethiopia and for foreigners too.
Student member
- 1 birr Registration fee
- Annual fee of 5 birr for Members Residing in Ethiopia.
Type of Membership
- Full membership is open to all Ethiopians and non-Ethiopians who have a diploma and above in Geoscience and who wish to support the objectives of the EGMEA
- Associate membership is open to all Ethiopians and non-Ethiopians who have not fulfill the requirements for full membership but who wish to support the objectives of the EGMEA and meets at least one of the following: a person professionally engaged in a field related to Geoscience or a person whose interest and commitment to Geoscience has been demonstrated or certified by other members.
- Student membership is open to all Ethiopian and non-Ethiopian students in higher learning institutions majoring in Geology in undergraduate program. They are regarded as an associate member.
